Basketball – As a guard for the basketball team at Jordan High School, I emerged as a dedicated and impactful player, earning the starting position out of 20 candidates and ultimately becoming MVP and Tribe Leader in 2025. Daily two-hour practices and additional weekend training with friends sharpened my shooting, driving, and passing abilities. As Tribe Leader, I prioritized inclusive participation and a positive team mindset, organizing cheers and monitoring performance. These commitments contributed directly to our district championship victory and helped cultivate a cohesive, spirited team environment.
Photography – Photography is my way of capturing moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed, turning everyday scenes into lasting stories. Through light, composition, and timing, I can express emotions and perspectives that words often fail to convey. It challenges me to slow down, observe details, and see the world with greater intention. Photography isn’t just a hobby for me, it’s a powerful form of creativity and self-expression.
Cooking and Baking – Cooking and baking are creative outlets that allow me to bring people together through food. I love how combining simple ingredients can turn into something meaningful, comforting, and memorable. The process teaches me patience, precision, and creativity, whether I’m experimenting with flavors or following a recipe. For me, cooking and baking are more than skills, they’re ways to share care, culture, and joy.
