Leadership: Leadership could only mean being a
leader in the dictionary; however in my vocabulary
it means to prove. We’ve all seen leaders across the globe, whether it’s the president, prime minister, or government, but it’s the capabilities they had that got them to that position. It’s the way you use those traits to your advantage, and to line up the right things to minimize the cause near you, as well as prevent failure from happening, whether it’s 500 feet away or 500 miles away.

Organizations –

  • Goods For Great: On the way to school, I would often look outside to see the less fortunate people begging on the roads with torn-up shoes and clothes, while I was in the car with all my comfort necessities. However I thought this isn’t how they should be treated, as they work just as hard as us, but some people’s luck altered their future; so I created Goods for Great where we raise $100 hosting each event, across 3 events, and use the money to buy blankets, pillows, clothes, food, etc. to donate to 3 local shelters for the people there to feel loved and part of the community as well.

  • Student Council: Since I was little, I have always loved helping out, as it gave me new opportunities to learn something new every day. Student Council not only presented new ideas, but also gave me a chance to experience my role of a group member, and to get a sense of what happens outside of our daily lives, and to try to think from other people’s perspectives as they go through the same time as us but in different directions. We got loops through animal shelters and helped them find a new home, and we also assisted in cleaning trash in the community after learned the amount of harm that is created to the marine animals in the water near us.

  • Teach Her Today: Over and over, I loop back to the word help – because it symbolizes my nature in this world as I teach kids in other parts of the world, mainly Asia, to get a better understanding of the world. Here in the US, we get quality education due to the amount of money our states preserve; however, people who struggle to afford tuition can still get a qualitative understanding of education from kids in the US. So helping out people from scratch gives me a new sense of confidence as I can teach people new lessons, and they teach me new ways to interact with one another.
